That's why they started the swingers club

The courier about Paradise Swings:

It started with swinger parties at home in the apartment. But 17 people in a two-room apartment was too much. And when the bed broke, Eva and Patrik decided to start their own swingers club.

- Eight people had sex in our double bed at the same time and then it broke. That's it. We thought we had to get a club, says Eva.

Now almost eight years have passed since Eva and Patrik started the swingers club Paradiseswings in Eskilstuna. Both couples and singles come here to meet others and live out their sexuality. In the 500 square meter premises there are several rooms with different orientations.

- There is room for everything from honest vanilla sex to slightly more advanced BDSM, says Patrik, as he shows us around.

He has built most of the premises on his own. A favorite among visitors is his self-constructed sex swing that can be packed up and taken with you.

- Patrik built it when I had broken my leg and had problems with my neck. Back then it wasn't so easy to get it in bed, says Eva and adds that the swing is popular among members who use wheelchairs.

- I particularly remember a couple where the man was in a wheelchair and the woman was the one who had to do the work when they were at home. But with this swing he could stand up and have sex with her. I don't think I've ever seen such a happy man.

While we stroll among sex swings, Roman rings and whips, the couple tells us that they themselves have been in the swinger world for 14 years.

- We have always had advanced sex, but we wanted to discover more, says Patrik and tells us that they went with some friends to a swingers club the first time.

The couple appreciated the clubs but not all lived up to their expectations. They wanted more advanced gear.

- We complained so much that someone said "but start your own club then". Well, maybe so, we thought.

Patrik says that the idea grew stronger and after that house party when there were 17 swingers who had sex in the couple's second, they decided.

Today, the club has approximately 500 active members from all over Sweden but also from Europe. About twenty of them are residents of Eskilstuna. The owners say that some of the members come to the club several times a week, while others only come to one meeting a year. The youngest member is in his 20s and the oldest is close to 70.

- Ordinary people come here, who look like ordinary people do. All walks of life have been here. Yes, not Carl Gustaf and Silvia then, says Eva.

In addition to the sex rooms, the club also has a restaurant part where they serve dinners at the meetings.

- I cook all food from scratch and try to use organic and Swedish ingredients as far as possible, says Eva, who is responsible for the kitchen.

- The food makes everyone relax. We talk and laugh. Then it can start to sneak a little under the tablecloth, says Patrik.

The club also has a spa on the premises where there is a sauna and hot tub.

Can you have sex in the pool?

- We usually say that you can do what you want. But no spray in the pool, it's not good for the system, says Patrik.

- We check the water quality every three hours during an evening. We have to, says Eva.

As a member of Paradiseswings, you must follow the club's rules, otherwise you will be excluded. A no is always a no and everyone has a duty of confidentiality. Eva and Patrik say that there is a great fear among their members that someone outside will find out what they are doing.

- Society has a moral panic when it comes to things like this. If it gets out, the person in question can get a lot of crap from those around them. It is about bigotry, but at the club you are safe. Here you can be who you are, says Patrik.

In addition to confidentiality and respect, the club owners are strict about hygiene. After dinner, everyone has to go and shower off just like in the bath house. Anyone who wants to go naked in the premises must bring a towel to sit on and a condom is a must.

- There are places that don't care at all. But we are adamant and wash everything regularly, says Eva.

To become a member of Paradiseswings, you need to visit the club a couple of times, after which you can get full membership.

- It is for one's own sake so that one can feel whether this is something that fits, but also so that we can see that it is a person who behaves, says Patrik.

There will never be a fight, I think about jealousy?

- Of course it has happened. But there are couples who haven't settled everything before they came here and who don't agree. Then we send them home again so they can start over and come back another time, says Patrik.

- You have to agree because this is about giving extra spice to the relationship, a love thing.
