New sex trend sweeps across Europe - News 24

The new sex trend is sweeping across Europe like a wave, and it's not something to be shy about.

Having sex with someone other than your partner, regardless of whether he is with you or not, is unthinkable for many. Some go so far as to call it infidelity.

But maybe times are starting to change and more people dare to go against the norm of twoness. Right now, swinging is also spreading as a trend across Europe.

This at least shows a survey of the infidelity site Victor Milan. The survey involved 4,907 women from various swinging couples across Europe, who were asked to answer questions about their swinging habits.

Swinging involves couples inviting more people into the bedroom, changing partners or going to events together where they have sex with others. You can say that it is a kind of open relationship, although the people have sex together.

“The Europeans are known for their open attitude to having lovers and having unfaithful affairs and now we know that they also like to share. When couples swing, they don't hide their wild fantasies from their long-term partner - they involve them and our members tell us that it's almost always a pleasant and satisfying experience," says Sigurd Vedal, founder and CEO of Victoria Milan, in a press release to Nyheter24 .

They swing the most

The survey showed that it is mainly women who take the initiative to invite other couples.

But the people who swing the most in Europe are the French. There, it is so common that over a third of couples enliven their sex life with swinger life.

In Scandinavia, the Norwegians are more keen on swinging. There, 31.5 percent of couples like to have a little adventure in bed. In Sweden, only 23.8 percent dare to open their bedroom doors. But at least we made the top 10 list.

The UK came in ninth place, but it is hardly surprising that they are afraid to open their doors.

Swinging with his friends

The survey also revealed that just over a third of women admitted that they love sharing their bedrooms with other couples. And they are not silent about that either.

Close to half said they mostly swing with friends they already have, while a third say they live it out with like-minded couples they meet online.

Unsurprisingly, not very many (only 6.3 percent) dare to swing with their neighbors.

that's how it goes

Swinging does not automatically mean that you have group sex. In the survey, only 16 percent indicated that they are likely to have group sex when they swing.

Instead, it's something completely different that they find hot - checking each other out while having sex. 49 percent of couples indicated that it is the absolute hottest scenario.

Only 14 percent want to have sex with members of the other couple separately.

Jealousy is strong

Although the couples have agreed to open their bedrooms, 42.6 percent of the women admit that they experience jealousy. A third of the women instead believe that the dominant feeling is pure horniness and even more – 37 percent – that they felt extremely turned on.

But only 3.2 percent dare to say that it was a little nervous.

May lead to fights

A big problem with swinging, however, can be that a third of women feel aggression from their partners. And just as many stated that the biggest reason the whole session could go wrong is when the men get into fights with each other.

Here are the ten countries with couples who swing the most

1. France (33.8%)
2. Norway (31.5%)
3. Netherlands 26.8%
4. Denmark (27.5%)
5. Finland (26.7%)
6. Belgium (25.2%)
7. Ireland (25.0%)
