Sveriges 10 bästa nudiststränder

Sweden's 10 best nudist beaches

By Aftonbladet

Bathe naked on Sergel's square?
Well. If you want to air all body parts in the sun, the best thing to do is on a nudist beach. And there are actually quite a few around the country.
The travel search site Momondo.se has listed Sweden's best nude beaches!

1. Lövnäsbadet, lake Yngern, Nykvarn

Lövnäsbadet, lake Yngern, Nykvarn

Lövnäsbadet by lake Yngern is a real classic. It is often referred to as one of Sweden's cleanest lakes. The lovely sandy beach that stretches along the lake has long been divided into two, and for those who want to dip their necks, it is fine to stay on the southern part, which also has its own jetty. It is easy to get to the bath both by car and bus.

2. Pite Havsbad, Piteå

Pite Havsbad, Piteå

Pite Havsbad is a popular bathing spot that also has an official nude pool. It is located at the mouth where the Piteälven flows into the sea and has a long and beautiful sandy beach. The nude pool is called the "Naturist" and is located at the far end of the beach. To the shy's knowledge, Pite Havsbad is very shallow, something that is otherwise advantageous for those who have children with them.

3. Ribersborg, Malmö

Ribersborg, Malmö

Ribersborg in Malmö is also like "Ribban". Just a few kilometers from central Malmö you will find this long fine sandy beach. If it's really hot and you just want to take off your clothes for a nude dip, you should aim for Brygga 10 - that's where Ribersborg's nude pool is, closest to Lagunen's marina, marked with white-painted stones.

4. Heden, on the Eastern Shore, Halmstad

Heden, on Östra Stranden, Halmstad

Two kilometers from Halmstad's city center is Östra stranden with its six kilometer long white beach. It is actually one of Sweden's longest sandy beaches. The official nude bath "Heden" can be found on the southernmost part of the Östra beach, in the Hagön nature reserve near the campsite. Here, too, the bathing beach is shallow.

5. Breviksbadet, Åkersberga

Breviksbadet, Åkersberga

Breviksbadet is popular for both clothed and naked bathers. For those who like activities, there is a playground, barbecue, kiosk and mini golf next to the usual swimming area. Fittingly, parking is only a couple of hundred meters from the beach and if you want to take the bus, the stop is only ten minutes away on foot.

6. Rolling sand, sea bath, Älvkarleby

Rolling sand, sea bath, Älvkarleby

Rullsand or "central Sweden's riviera", as it is often called by the locals, has four long sea beaches, one of which is open for nude bathing. The beaches are part of the Billudden nature reserve, where the nude bath is located in the far north with a cobblestone beach. In the area there is a kiosk, restaurant, toilets, barbecue area and parking. The nearest bus stop is approximately one kilometer from the beach.

7. Lulviksbadet, Luleå

Lulviksbadet, Luleå

About a mile south of Luleå is this pleasant and family-friendly sea and nude bath, which the "Naturist Association North" calls its home beach. The beach is very shallow and here there is also a ramp into the water for those who need it. In addition to the sandy beach itself, there is also a large green area with the possibility of camping and grilling.

8. Amundön, south of Gothenburg

Amundön, south of Gothenburg

There's not much that beats a hot summer day on the West Coast. On Amundön near Askim, south of Gothenburg, there is both a sandy beach and rock bathing. Here you can enjoy salty sea and rocks in just your birthday clothes.

9. Almö, Ronneby / Karlskrona

Almö, Ronneby/Karlskrona

This hidden beach is located on the small island of Almö in the Baltic Sea in Blekinge and can be a bit difficult to find if you are not familiar with it. The island is connected to the mainland via a small bridge and has both grassy areas and rocks by the beach with a bottom of pleasant fine gravel and pebbles. Here, the water is deep enough and suitable for the whole family. The nude bath is a so-called "spontaneous nude bath" without any maintenance.

10. Goda Hopp and Skarpe Nord, Varberg

Good Hope and Skarpe Nord, Varberg

In Varberg between the Fortress and the Ankaret, naked men and women bathe separately. "Goda Hopp" is the name of the men's swimming area and "Skarpe Nord" is the women's. Despite piers, toilets, sauna and shower, the beautiful feeling of nature is preserved. The nude pool is open all year round.
